Collaboration with British Blind Sport to create an exciting new coaching resource

British Blind Sport has worked with Boccia England to develop an inclusive resource that will help to support more blind and partially sighted players to participate in boccia. The new resource teaches coaches how to include blind and partially sighted people in boccia and provides them with the knowledge and skills they need to confidently deliver visually impaired (VI) boccia in club, school, and community settings. National Boccia Day is an annual event to celebrate boccia and raise awareness across the country. National Boccia Day 2021 is being held on Monday 27th September and will celebrated in partnership with Disability Sport Wales, Scottish Disability Sport and Disability Sport Northern Ireland, with support from Irwin Mitchell. Virtually Boccia Round 2 - The results are in!

Online learning success

In September 2020 we launched the first ever online learning series for boccia. Six months on and we are delighted to report on the successful delivery of 13 sessions which attracted over 200 attendances from across the UK boccia community. Read more
