Boccia at Home

Boccia is played within clubs and groups and at competitions up and down the country, but did you know you can also play recreationally at home?

You don’t need much space or specialised equipment to have fun and start developing some of your boccia skills! On this page you’ll find some ideas and links to help you get started.

Boccia Boost: Boccia at Home

This downloadable pdf contains the details of six games you can play at home and explains how you can adapt the game and the equipment depending on what you have available. Have a go today!

The Rainbow Cup

The Rainbow Cup was a boccia competition we ran during the Covid-19 pandemic. Each week we released a new boccia challenge for you to attempt at home. Why not have a go at some of the challenges and see how you get on? Take a look at the written instructions and diagrams for all the games (first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth editions) or watch the instructional videos on our YouTube channel.

Partner Resources

Some other organisations have also compiled information to support disabled people to stay active at home. Please find the links below.

Activity Alliance – a list of useful exercise advice, workouts, videos and activity guides.

Scope – Make it Count – an inclusive challenge for everyone.

Sport England – Join the Movement resources.

WheelPower – a selection of wheelchair workouts on YouTube.
