  2. Our partners

Our partners

We work with a variety of partners leading to innovative exciting and new approaches. Our key partners are listed here:

Sport England is focused on the creation of a world-leading community sport system. They invest National Lottery and Exchequer funding in organisations and projects that will grow and sustain participation in grassroots sport and create opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.

We have partnered with Irwin Mitchell Solicitors who assist in increasing Boccia England's profile nationally, identifying players for our Talent pathway and signposting players to our club network.

We work in partnership with SMILE to provide supporting activities to increase participation in boccia, including the development of clubs, competitions and our workforce (volunteers). SMILE is a not for profit organisation that increases awareness, opportunity and enjoyment in disability sport in NE England.

Sport for Confidence logo

We have partnered with Sport for Confidence to produce an evidence-based guide, endorsed by the Royal College of Occupational Therapy, detailing how the sport of boccia can be used as an assessment and intervention took for Occupational Therapy practice. Sport for Confidence is a social enterprise which has a passion for sport and significantly benefits the lives of people with mental illness, physical disabilities and learning disabilities.

We work with the Youth Sport Trust on various projects aimed at engaging young people in sport, either through participation or leadership. The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to changing young people's lives through sport.
