On Monday 25th January 2021, Boccia England launched the Emergency Covid-19 Club Boccia Equipment Offer – a brand new initiative which will provide a limited amount of free equipment to clubs to assist with their safe return to regular training sessions once current restrictions have been lifted. The Emergency Covid-19 Club Boccia Equipment Offer is now open to all current Boccia England Member Clubs and will close on Friday 26th February. Find out more about this free initiative and how to apply below!

Boccia England are committed to supporting clubs with their safe return to the court once restrictions have been lifted, which is why we have launched the Emergency Covid-19 Club Boccia Equipment Offer. The initiative will provide our member clubs with the opportunity to apply for free boccia equipment, to ensure that they can return to regular sessions safely and in a Covid-secure manner, ensuring that Boccia England’s Back to Boccia Return to Training Guidance is adhered to, once current restrictions have been lifted.

Through the Emergency Covid-19 Club Boccia Equipment Offer, all Boccia England member clubs can apply for a limited amount of equipment which we have available. This includes:

  • Handilife Standard Ball Set (includes paddle)
  • Calliper from Handi-Life
  • Measure from Handi-Life
  • Court Tape Packs
  • Propel ramp

To apply for the Emergency Covid-19 Club Boccia Equipment Offer, all clubs have to do is to fill in a short form stating what equipment they would like to apply for and how each item requested will support them to safely return to club training sessions. Once completed, forms must then be submitted to George Bollands (Development Officer) via [email protected] no later than Friday 26th February. All applications will then be judged by an independent panel of Boccia England staff and clubs will be notified by Friday 12th March as to whether their application has been successful.
