Boccia England’s National Boccia Day is returning and this year will be held on Sunday 27 September 2020. The annual event, which is now in its 5th year, aims to celebrate the sport for those who are already involved in boccia as well as to raise the awareness of the sport across the country.

This year, Boccia England will be celebrating National Boccia Day 2020 over a ten-day period, between Monday 21st and Wednesday 30th September. During the ten-day celebration, there will be fun daily activities with limited edition prizes to be won. We will also be launching this year’s competition for schools and clubs, releasing our brand-new National Boccia Day Facebook profile picture frames, and encouraging all members to sign our virtual pledge board!

And then on Sunday 27th September, we will be celebrating National Boccia Day by hosting Boccia England’s first ever Big Boccia Throw-off! We will be asking you all to join us on Zoom at 3PM and play boccia all at the same time wherever you are, using whatever equipment you have available. It does not matter whether you play boccia regularly or have never played before, we want everyone to get involved!! To sign up to be part of Boccia England’s Big Boccia Throw-Off, please visit https://tinyurl.com/BigBocciaThrowOff.
