Over the weekend of November 12th and 13th, the University of Gloucestershire welcomed us as the Oxstalls Sports Park where we hosted our first BE Cup competition of the seasons and second of our five Heathcoat Cup competitions.

The weekend started with our BE Cup athletes facing off against each other all vying for a place at the BE Cup finals in May. The BC1, BC2 and BC4 athletes played in round robin competitions whilst the BC3's were looking to progress through to the semi finals before the medals could be decided.

After a day of close matches and tie-breaks, here are the final placings:

After the eventful day of BE Cup action on Saturday, Sunday saw our Heathcoat Cup take to the courts, all looking to qualify for the Heathcoat Cup finals which will take place in Nottingham on 29th April 2023.

This competition welcomed a number of brand new athletes who have either returned to boccia after having some time out or how have reacently found boccia and joined thir local club.

Another action packed day with high quaility shots and great tactical decisions being dispalyed saw three of the four madal matches being won on a tie-break.
