We are excited to share that our new People Development Manager, Stacey Reed joined the Boccia England team this week.

Stacey has 10 years’ experience of working in Sport Development, first at British Gymnastics in a variety of roles within participation, education, and events, and more recently at British Cycling as a Community Developer for Nottingham developing and implementing projects on the ground to get more people cycling and supporting volunteers.

At British Gymnastics Stacey spent two years as Workforce Development Coordinator organising courses, and four years organising local events and supporting national and international events.

Stacey has managed and supported volunteers through her previous role at British Cycling. Stacey organised volunteer days to update the volunteers and thank them for their support and recruited new volunteers and young leaders to support the delivery of the programme.

Stacey volunteers in her spare time, leading regular women only rides around Sherwood Pines and is a trampoline and gymnastics coach.

As People Development Manager, Stacey is responsible for managing the recruitment, deployment, and training of our many valued volunteers and tutors, ensuring there are enough resources to support our events and managing our course bookings.
