We are currently recruiting for the role of Tutor (Boccia Leaders Award)

Purpose of the role: Boccia England is currently reviewing and revising the content of our
training courses, to include an updated Boccia Leaders Award launching early 2020. The
Boccia Leaders Award is a 3 hour theoretical and practical workshop, teaching the basic
principles of boccia and providing attendees with the essential tools to lead and deliver basic
boccia in a local community typesetting.

The course is designed for adults and young people
aged 12 years and above. We expect to deliver at least 50 courses across the country each
year and are now recruiting additional course tutors to strengthen our workforce.
Hours worked: Variable – based on demand. 3-hour course plus 1 hour to allow for set up /
set down.

To include weekdays, weekends, day times and evenings. Courses are allocated to
tutors based on booking demand and geographical location.


Rate of pay: Boccia England tutors are paid at a self-employed rate of £30 per hour and a
total of 4 claimable hours for the Boccia Leaders Award (£120 total fee).

Travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses are also claimable in line with the Boccia England
Expenses Policy.

Successful applicants will receive a separate contract.
Based at: Variable locations around the country based on demand.
