We want to make use of the expertise and insight of our members and other people involved in our sport who have helped to make boccia what it is today. To do this, we are establishing the Boccia Development Advisory Group to collaborate more closely with those people who want to help us change lives through boccia.

This is an opportunity for you to hear from us about what we are doing to develop the sport, and for us to hear from you about what we can do to make our activities even better.

The key objectives of the group will be to:

  • Provide an opportunity to come together and hear about the work activities of the Boccia England development team.
  • Check and challenge our approach and activities so we can provide the best boccia experience possible for people taking part in the sport.

We will be holding an annual meeting at two different locations to try and accommodate people. The details of the first meetings are:

  • Saturday 21 September at Holiday Inn South Normanton M1 junction 28, Carter Lane East, South Normanton, Derbyshire, DE55 2EH

Or

  • Sunday 22 September at YMCA Sports & Community Centre, Princes Road, Redhill, RH1 6JJ.

The meetings will be held from 11am until 15.30pm.

If you are interested in attending one of the meetings, please make a note of the date. We will provide more information about the group and meeting content soon.

We are looking forward to conversations with you and hope you can join us on one of the dates.
