We had our second England Squad and England Futures Camp of the year at Stoke Mandeville over the weekend of 2nd/3rd April.

This saw athletes put through a new skills test aimed at testing their technical capabilities as well as hosting our first mental conditioning workshop, with the aim to have more throughout the year.

On the Sunday afternoon, athletes competed in both individual and pairs match play, before we finished off the camp with a debrief on the 'Culture' exercise we had run throughout the weekend, from our Performance Consultant, Mark Hoile.

England Futures athlete and Athlete Leadership Group representative, Georgina Moore, reflected on her first pathway camp experience since she moved Classification groups:

“I really enjoyed spending time with other athletes who are more experienced. I was able to learn a great deal from them and they were kind enough to share their ideas and feedback. This kind of experience is invaluable.”

England Squad athlete and Athlete Leadership Group representative, Lee Maddison, said:

“It was an enjoyable camp, got a lot from it, plenty of things to take away and work on”
