The biggest event in the Boccia England calendar took place this weekend with The BE Cup Finals held at the EIS-Sheffield.

The winners from the Heathcoat Cup Finals 2019 and The BE Cup qualifiers competed for the title of BE Cup Champion in BC1, BC2, BC3, BC4 and BC5 classification groups.  This year also saw history in the making with our first ever BC5 players taking part in the finals.  Play took place over 2 days and we saw some top class boccia and lots of nail-biting matches!

Well done to all the athletes who took part, we hope you all enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.

A huge Congratulations to all the winners.

The action isn’t over yet however for our BC1 -4 winners who qualify for a place in the UK Championships held in Northern Ireland next month.

We would like to thank the EIS-Sheffield for hosting this event, Moblioo for providing accessible toilet facilities and to all of our volunteer officials. Without all their hard work during the finals and throughout the season none of this would be possible.

We can’t wait to do it all again next season and look forward to seeing you all then!
