We are please to launch our first Teams and Pairs competition for 3 years. To be held at Stoke Mandeville, on Saturday 1^st October, the Teams and Pairs competition is open to BC1 – BC4 players.

 

This event which will be held in conjunction with an England training camp will include visiting athletes from Sweden and run also alongside the Boccia England awards.

Talent Manager, Andrew Partridge said:

“We are really pleased to be able to bring the Teams and Pairs event back this year. With some visiting international players it looks to be a competitive event providing some great experience for our pathway and developing boccia players in England”.

 

From the 19^th August, players are able to enter the competition as part of a BC1/2 team, BC3 pair or BC4 pair. Full rules and regulations for this event can be seen below.

Rules and Regulations

Some key changes to this event are: -

• Players do not need to be part of the England Pathway to enter this event.
• Players must have a regional classification.
• A BC5 player is able to enter as part of a BC4 pair, but there must be a BC4 on court at all times in each pair.
• Players should know who their team members are before entering. Boccia England is not able to match players up.
• Entry is £15 per player.
