The Heathcoat Cup Finals are taking place on Saturday 21st April at Hertfordshire Sports Village, home of the Hawks Academy.

The Heathcoat Cup started in 2017 and attracts players from all over to compete in a series of regional competitions across 5 different locations in England. Sixty players have qualified for the finals leading to 130 matches taking place on the day. The top two players in the BC1-BC4 classification categories qualify to compete in our elite competition, the BE Cup.

The Heathcoat Cup is an exciting competition for all impairment groups (BC1 – 8) and is perfect for players wanting to start or further their competition experience with the opportunity to qualify for the Heathcoat Cup Finals. Classifications BC1 - 8 cover a wider range of disabilities from players with profound physical impairments such as Cerebral Palsy to players with learning difficulties.

Boccia England always welcomes new players and a player at the Heathcoat Cup Rounds competition in Sheffield summed up their first experience stating:

“This is my first competition, I was really nervous but I’ve loved it; everyone is really friendly.”
