We’re delighted to announce our “Back to Boccia Cup” which will take place on 18-19th September at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield. This event will be the first opportunity for some of our most talented athletes to compete against each other since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The competition is supported by generous sponsorship from ENA Care Group, a company which provides live-in care for disabled and elderly people across the UK. With many of the athletes in our talent pathway having had a prolonged time training at home, it’s vital that we give our athletes and coaches an opportunity to put their training to the test and to celebrate the return to the court. We’re very grateful to ENA Care Group for making this opportunity possible.

The Competition Guide is now available.

BISFed have released a boccia rules update which will come into effect following the end of the Paralympic Games in September. Boccia England has decided to NOT use the new competition rules for our competition on 17th-19th September. This is due to other requirements that will be in place to reduce the risk of Covid-19 and focussing on our return to competition after a long time.

Later this year Boccia England will provide training for officials to upskill on the new rules and more information will be made available about when we will implement these new rules at competitions.
