Board Boccia England, as a Registered Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee, is governed by a Board of Directors. Chair: Mike Walker Mike joined the Board in May 2018 and has a passion for both business and sport. Mike has been Chair of an Oxfordshire County Sports Partnership has had further Board level experience as Vice Chair and Chair of the Institute of Directors for Buckinghamshire/Milton Keynes Branch. He has over 22 years' experience as a Senior Manager and Leader and is a former tennis professional, playing at Wimbledon and in the Davis Cup. Vice-Chair: Janie Frampton Janie has a wealth of experience in the sporting sector having operated across both national and international football. She is a keen Ambassador for women in sport and has previous experience of developing positive stakeholder relationships. She has held several Chair positions and has worked with numerous National Governing Bodies in the past. Treasurer & Senior Independent Director: Owen Watson Owen is a qualified accountant with experience in the sports sector and previous Board experience as Treasurer. He has executive level experience working on strategic commercial financial analysis and taking the lead on financial contracts. Independent Director: Dan Newton Dan is a Development Director with over 15 years' experience as a sports development professional, supporting county sports partnerships and national governing bodies at a local regional and national level. Independent Director: Jonathan Rudge Jonathan is a Corporate Fundraiser with over 10 years’ experience as a tennis coach working with a range of players including athletes with learning and physical disabilities and national level junior athletes. He also has previous experience as a visually impaired Tennis Tournament Director and Disability Tennis Network Manager. Director: Lauren Templeton Lauren has a wealth of experience as a sports development professional, including supporting the development of training courses and funding bids, strategic involvement in England Netball and as disability sports officer. Lauren is a Boccia Leaders' Award and Young Officials' Award tutor and was a Gamesmaker for boccia at London 2012. Director: Elizabeth Moulam Liz is an active Boccia England member with extensive experience in sport, particularly boccia. She has a variety of boccia roles, including club lead, official, coach and tutor and has previous experience as a Board Chair and Trustee. Liz has previous experience in customer service, marketing and research. Player Advocate: Dan Bentley Dan Bentley is the Players' Advocate for Boccia England and he sits on the Board to ensure that the individual and collective views of players are represented.
