We are delighted to announce our Back to Boccia Cup which will take place on 18-19th September at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield.

This event will be the first opportunity for some of our most talented athletes to compete against each other since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The competition is supported by generous sponsorship from ENA Care Group, a company which provides live-in care for disabled and elderly people across the UK.

Boccia England Head of Talent, Andy Partridge said “With many of the athletes in our talent pathway having had a prolonged time training at home compared to many other Olympic and Paralympic sports, it’s vital that we give our athletes and coaches an opportunity to put their training to the test and to celebrate the return to the court. We’re very grateful to ENA Care Group for making this opportunity possible.

ENA Care Group Director and Founder, Mitch Miller said We are delighted to forge a partnership and be able to sponsor Boccia England's latest tournament post-lockdown. The past sixteen months have been extremely difficult for everyone, particularly those who have been unable to access, attend and partake in sporting events such as boccia. ENA has a number of live-in care clients who partake in boccia, and we see first-hand the benefit this provides to them. Sports such as boccia help our communities to come together to connect and care, providing wonderful health and social benefits to those living with physical disabilities which we are proud to support.”

The Back to Boccia Cup is an invite-only competition. The first round of invitations will be sent via email on Friday 30th July. There is a deadline of Thursday 12th August to accept your invitation and enter and pay through your Boccia Base account. If there is capacity following this first round of invitations, we will release a second round on Monday 16th August.
