News & events News Event Assistants needed Event Assistants needed for set up Boccia England is recruiting paid Event Assistants to support occasional competition set up around the country. This role is paid at £50 per competition set up and usually takes place on a late Friday or Saturday evening for up to 3 hours / until the event set up is complete. Existing knowledge of boccia is useful, but not essential. We are ideally recruiting those local to the events and the role involves… Assisting the wider Boccia England staff team with all elements of competition/event set up. Unloading of competition equipment from the event a vehicle into the sports hall. Carrying, lifting and positioning of boccia equipment into the sports hall. Marking of boccia courts. Setting up event signage, banners, and other promotional displays.
