A Boccia Forum is a network of local clubs, organisations and schools who deliver boccia. The primary goal of a Boccia Forum is to allow people interested in boccia to come together and support each other on a local level.

There are currently 13 Boccia Forums across England (listed below) and we are looking to extend this. We are now looking for new forum leads. This year we are particularly keen to start forums in Nottingham, Sheffield, Yorkshire and the Midlands.

A forum lead is a named individual with overall responsibility for the coordination of the club forum. They will build up a good relationship with Boccia England and ensure effective communication links between all clubs, volunteers and external partners involved in the forum. The commitment of each forum lead is to organise 2 forums per year. The estimated time commitment will be 2 hours per month. This is a volunteer role and no payment will be given to the Forum lead.

We are looking for people who are:

  • Passionate about developing the sport.
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • A good planner with organisational skills.
  • Able to lead and supervise others.
  • A good listener who’s easy to approach.

Do you think you could be a forum lead? Would you like more information on this? Please contact Rachel Miller on [email protected] or via 07809336321.
